Flying alongside Everest can be a fabulous experience. See the highest peak in the world, at 29, 028 feet, from a few thousand feet higher, as you traverse the Nepal Himalaya. See across from Everest, well into the Tibetan plateau. To the right of Everest lies Makalu peak - a dome of stone and ice. After Everest, as one flies west, falls the peak of Kangchenjunga which straddles India and Nepal. Left of the peak is Nepal and right of the summit lies India. This is the Sikkim peak one sees from Darjeeling town, in a prominent fashion.
