The first of the majestic mausoleums of the Mughal dynasty in India, the final resting place for the Mughal rulers Babur and his son, Humayun, Humayun's tomb was one of the fisrt examples of the outstanding Mughal architecture which had its finest example in perhaps, the Taj Mahal, a good 80 years later.
