The road to Gulab Bagh in Ganderbal from Srinagar passes along the Dal Lake, the Nishat and Shalimar Gardens and gives views of various landmarks of the Dal Lake. A drive along this road, which along the Dal is called the Boulevard road is truly mesmerising. The drive also reveals the life on and along the lake. Fishing in the lake, walnut sellers on the bank of the lake, the Char Chinar in the middle of the lake, are sights unique to the Dal.
