State Bank of Mysore (SBM) is one of the subsidiaries or associated banks of SBI and also a nationalized bank in India. Initially, it was founded as the “The Bank of Mysore Ltd.” in the year of 1913 and later on in 1960, it officially became one of the subsidiaries of SBI and named as “State Bank of Mysore”. The founder of this bank was Sir M.Vishweshwaraiah. Currently, Mr. Pratip Chaudhuri is serving as the Chairman and Mr. Sharad Sharma is serving as the Managing Director of State Bank of Mysore.
