An artist can be seen sculpting Ganpati idols with his hands by using clay and water. These idols are then hand painted rendering it complete. Artist says "I am a lecturer and I have been making Ganpati idols for the past 2 years. My father made Ganpati idols and after he passed away, I started making the idols to continue what my father started." The idols vary in shapes, sizes and colours. These idols are not only sold for the temples at homes even though it does make a huge part of the market for Ganpati Idol. But mostly these idols have huge market demand during the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi celebrating the birth of Lord Ganesha.
