Sonal Mansingh a prominent Bharatnatyam and Odissi style dancer performs classical Indian dances. In an interview, she talks about how she is trying to invoke awareness of the environment through her dance performance and art. Sonal Mansingh: "Forcing people to sit down and rethink the priorities and the value systems. So I chose environment because today the outer environment, the degradation everybody is talking about which directly affects our inner environment, our mood, our attitude. Everything is in metaphors. If I tell you directly don't do this you are not happy about it but if it is put metaphorically. If we pull out the leaf of a tree, the tree also feels unhappy.
