Most Bhutanese people love Ema Datsi and it is so loved by the people of Bhutan that it is considered the National Dish of the Country. Ema means Chili and Datshi refers to cheese. You may use different types of fresh or dry chillies for the dish. Tharchen from Bhutan will show us how to make Ema Dasthi, Ingredients: - Chillies of any colour, be it red or green - 5 cloves of garlic - half a cup of cold water - Slices of cheese - One tablespoon each of salt and of Oil Method: Chop each chilli into 4 slices, lengthways. Combine the chillies, garlic, oil, salt, cheese and water together in the frying pan or wok and heat for 3 to 5 minutes.
