The HELP! The Telethon Concert was organised in early 2005 in response to the devastating 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami, aiming to support relief and rehabilitation efforts for affected communities. The initiative focused especially on helping coastal fishermen and families who suffered immense loss. The event saw the participation of several well-known faces from the Indian entertainment industry, including Poonam Dhillon, Prem Krishen, Sakshi Tanwar, Shatrughan Sinha, Apara Mehta, Chetan Hansraj, Sanjeev Kapoor, Rohit Roy, Smriti Irani, and Kunickaa Sadanand. Their presence added visibility and strength to the cause. The telethon featured stage appearances, emotional appeals, and public messages encouraging viewers to contribute generously.
