Some of these Himalayan Ibex seem to have very mangy fur. Could they really have mange? In the season of maximum fur, the two seen together seem to have lost all the fur on their flanks. The Ibex have to dig below the snow to reach the tubers and sedges that they must consume as their winter lean season sustenance, to get them through the long winter months...
