The view from one of the topmost points in the Ziro Valley, Paku Axw Putu, from where the river Kwle that fertilizes the entire valley can be clearly seen, alongwith the paddyfields, irrigation canals, villages, townships and Air strip at Old Ziro. This place is reached after a treacherous trek through dense wet forests full of leeches and insects and vegetation which is very typical of Arunachali mountains. Ziro is situated in Lower Subansiri district of Arunachal Pradesh, 167 kms from the capital Itanagar. It can be reached via road from Guwahati or Dibrugarh towns in Assam.
