A herd of Gaur have entered this tea estate in the Nilgiris, as they have decided they like chomping on tea bushes and tea leaves! They have a taste for tea, it seems! The gaur is a wild bovine and the largest such bovine species in the world. This video also highlights the dangers to wild Gaur. There is electric fencing clearly visible at one point, in very close proximity to the Gaur. The Gaur also cross heavily trafficked and traversed roads, subjecting them to road risks. Human conflict is a clear danger for these wild bovines.
