The TD leaders in the protest tried burning the effigies during which Mr Sambasiva Rao caught fire and sustained burns. He was immediately taken to Ramesh Hospital in Vijayawada city. The doctors however assured that there was no threat to his life but he has to be in the hospital for 10 days to recover.
