Locals being shifted to safe places asCyclone Fani hits Andhra Pradesh, India. Cyclone Fani triggers heavy rains in parts of north coastal Andhra Pradesh after it hit Odisha's coast. The gusty winds uprooted trees and electricity poles in Andhra Pradesh The cyclone moved close to north coastal Andhra before it made landfall in neighbouring Odisha. Under its impact, gusty winds with speed reaching up to 140 km per hour lashed the coastal area of Srikakulam district.
