Matheran in the Western Ghats is a destination for locals and tourists who come here for the misty weather, just walking around or the toy train or Matheran Hill Train. A host of tourists are seen riding horses led by tourist guides. Hand-pulled carriages can be seen parked on the road waiting for customers but looks like the horseback riding is raging.
