Before tourism took over, fishing used to be an important way of life for the people. It was the main source of income for the locals. Now, with the help of the tourism industry, fishing itself has become a commercialised sport. Still, one can find local fishermen fishing with traditional method as well as with modern tools and techniques. Bali is an island located in the westernmost end of the Lesser Sunda Islands, Indonesia. It has Java to its west and Lombok to the east. It has its provincial capital at Denpasar and it is one of the 33 provinces Indonesia has. The province envelopes a few small neighbouring islands as well as the isle of Bali.
