Jagjit Singh says "Not particularly special, every album is very important and very special because every album has a new beginning a new start. For me, every album is a new challenge and this I am working for the first time with Gulzar Sahab and all the ghazals are written by him. He uses new expressions, he brought in fresh words so that is another challenge for me." Jagjit Singh is one of the most famous Ghazal singers of modern times. In an era where the current generation is headed towards rock and hip hop music, it is refreshing to see them cherish Jagjit Singh ghazals as well. Jagjit learnt classical music under Pandit Chaganlal Sharma and achieved expertise in classical forms like Khayal, Thumri and Dhrupad.
