The IL&FS plant uses the weighing bridge technology to weigh and scale the material coming in from the waste suppliers such as MCD. The stones are then unloaded to the water sprinkling and hand segregation bed at the work site. The facility gets mixed C&D waste from 28 designated points in 3 zones (Karolbagh, Sadar Paharganj & City) of North Corporation. Once ta the plant, the waste is segregated into big concrete pieces, mixed C&D waste as per size and unrecyclable materials like plastic, wood etc. The wsate is crushed, washed and is recycled into aggregates, which is in turn are converted to Ready Mix Concrete (RMC), Cement bricks, hollow bricks, pavement blocks, kerb stones, concrete bricks and manufactured sand. The products have been tested in various laboratories and found to be suit
