Members of Kalavoor church gathered for celebration of Mother Mary Feast Day at Kalavoor in Kerala. Kalavoor is a village located at Alappuzha district in the Indian state of Kerala. 10 km north of Alappuzha city, it is well-connected by road and rail. Regarded to be one among the most prominent villages in Alappuzha, many public as well as private institutions are situated here. Almost all KSRTC bus services, Passenger and Demu train's have halt's in Kalavoor, making transportation or commuting from, easy. The feast is a celebration of Mary’s motherhood of Jesus. The title “Mother of God” is a western derivation from the Greek Theotokos, which means “God-bearer”.
