Drive with us in this virtual road trip from Thimphu, the capital city, to Paro, in Bhutan. It is a sunny day on the road to Paro as we are driving from Thimphu to Paro. an army truck, several civilian private cars and a Hyundai Sante Fe pass by by. We seem to be following an Indian made Maruti Suzuki van for much of the initial part of the journey... An Indian oil truck passes by. (All fuel consumed in Bhutan is supplied by Indian oil companies.) The airport in Bhutan is in Paro and most tourists only visit Paro and Thimphu. If any tourists wish to go on further, they need special passes. One can see the numerous houses in smaller townships and habitations in the lowermost important valley of Bhutan as one heads to Paro from the capital city of Thimphu.
