Srilankan filmmaker Prasanna Vithanage speaks about Cinemaya magazine. He says "Here in Delhi, my third film was screened at the Cinemaya 10th anniversary celebration and I had a tremendous response. This is not the first time I have stayed Delhi, I have shown my earlier film two years ago and before I came, I knew that about Delhi audience that they have good taste and they are very appreciative about quality cinema. Cinemaya Magazine past 10 years, I speak in a personal point of view if I speak about cinema and magazine before became a filmmaker I wasn't movie buff. At that time I knew about european cinema and Hollywood cinema but I didn't knew nothing much about our neighbours India, China and abouth their cinema. So Cinemaya fill this void. I came to know about Asian cinema and asia
