A rare aerial view of the Gangotri glacier, with a ring-side view of climate change in action in the Himalaya, with glacial melt and Himlayan glacial run-off getting accentuated in recent years. The Gangotri glacier has stepped back substantially in recent years, due to the obvious suspects of anthropogenic agents of climate change and modification. This is the source of the largest Himalayan river and it is under threat, and in a process of constant change.
