An equestrian statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj stands at Kranti Chowk in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. The monument is positioned within a busy traffic junction where vehicles move continuously around the site and along a nearby flyover. The base structure is built from dark, textured stone blocks arranged in a stepped circular form. Two sculpted lions flank the Rajmudra, representing strength and authority associated with the Maratha empire. Decorative elephant head structures with raised trunks function as fountains at the base, adding a water feature to the installation. Alcoves within the structure contain smaller bronze statues depicting figures from Maratha history. The scene shows the monument integrated into an active urban setting.
