Bipasha Basu on film Apaharan: "I was very scared on the first day as we were shooting in a small gully / gali. There were throngs of crowds on both sides of the road. There were cops. I am scared of crowds as I've had previous bad experiences. But they were so sweet. Even if they were pushed, they were good natured. The people of Satara are fabulous. Really nice crowd. Not rowdy at all. I normally don't use make-up. If I had put on make-up, the purpose of the film would have been defeated. I would not have looked like a small town girl. Make-up was not required for this film. A little kajal and that's about it."
