Women wear sarees and acts as contract labourers and work in the relentless and cruel summer sun in India, in dusty conditions. Meanfolks also join in. Labourers work on a job in their own Indian village and they don't go anywhere else to find work, working in an open ground setting, and digging with shovels and fawada for construction work. These are not bonded labourers surely? Is this part of a government scheme for minimum wage labourers to earn their living?
