Time to harvest and sell in Tamil Nadu. Locals beat mini drums. An old woman is earning his bread and butter by drumming as well. Local banana, Haldi, sugarcane is being sold in the market. Pongal is a Tamil harvest festival. Thai Pongal is a four-day festival which according to the Gregorian calendar is normally celebrated from January 14 to January 16.
