A Bombay Locust is feeding on green grass in a natural outdoor environment. The locust is positioned among dense blades of grass while chewing plant material with its strong mouthparts. Its elongated body, folded wings, and powerful hind legs are characteristic features of this large grasshopper species found across South and Southeast Asia. The insect is also seen swaying and moving with the surrounding vegetation while remaining attached to the grass stems. Bombay Locusts are herbivorous insects commonly associated with grasslands, agricultural fields, and open vegetation areas. The footage captures feeding behaviour and close movement patterns of the locust within its grassy habitat.
