Quite the need of the hour, in India! With industrial pollution and effluent, to industrial laundry detergent, factory discharge, discharge from residential drains and everything in between, we abuse our rivers and water sources like there is no tomorrow. Little do we realize, especially here in India, that the greatest resource over the next 50 years, will not be US$ forex reserves, military weaponry, industrial development, GDP, exports or governance, but the simple and plain availability of pure drinking water. Swajal is an attempt to provide people with pure water in the villages and illegal settlements in India. In a country where water is a rare commodity, Advait Kumar noticed the lack of access labourers have to drink water. In designing the Swajal vending machine, it solves two p
