People offer their prayers to Lord Buddha here and they offer incense sticks and candles at the temple. Even though it is not allowed to light incense sticks, Thai people still offer them but they don't light them. There are shops around the complex which sell Buddha amulets and similar items. Covered by shiny brown ceramic tiles, the chedi stands proudly in the middle of a very large central square, frequently used for fairs and markets during religious periods.
