Splaying out his wings and feathers to take in the maximum amount of sunshine and heat, this male Indian Peafowl sits out in the mid-day summer heat of Delhi and seems to be holding a personal sauna-spa, by de-ticking and removing mites and lice from his feathers, by heating them out! The opening of the wing feathers is done to perhaps ensure equal warming, for feather hygiene...
