The Nartiang Monoliths, also known as the Monolith Garden, located in the Jaintia Hills district of Meghalaya, India. Description: The picture shows a concrete pathway winding through a large cluster of ancient stone monoliths of various sizes and shapes, some standing upright and others lying flat. The surrounding area features lush green moss on some stones and trees in the background. Significance: These monoliths are significant historical and archaeological structures, believed to be the largest collection at a single location in Meghalaya. They were erected as memorials to mark important events and the reigns of the erstwhile Jaintia kings between 1500 AD and 1835 AD.
