A deserted shopping complex in Delhi with the shutters down but we see activity after a while with people coming in to buy liquor before the shutters are even up. Customers are already lining up in front of the government wine and beer shop. These men are braving the Delhi heat to get their hands on 'Daaru' after months of lockdown. In India, we are used to waiting and queues in post offices, hospitals, banks but this is definitely not an everyday sight in front of liquor stores. Following relaxations in the lockdown, with government liquor shops opening Delhites can be seen queuing up outside the shops.
