Manesar lies in the state of Haryana along the Delhi - Jaipur highway. NH-8 or the Delhi - Jaipur highway happens to be an important freight corridor. Manesar is also an important part of the planned Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor. The Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor Project is a state-sponsored industrial development project undertaken by the Government of India. The ambitious project aims to develop an industrial zone spanning six Indian states. The project will see a major expansion of infrastructure and industry – including industrial clusters and rail, road, port and air connectivity in the states along the route of the Corridor.
