Who would have imagined that Gwalior has turned into such a large crowded urban space...? Sheltered by the plateau of Gwalior Fort and the Scindia School, the city has proliferated below, with rampant construction. A large monsoon floodwater drainage system seems to have turned into a large sewerage drain and runs right through the city. That said, the city's residential neighbourhoods look well designed and built, with good city planning, despite the apparently crowded developments, as seen from the air.
