A view of the superb highway infrastructure outside of Bangalore / Bengaluru city on the eastern end, around KR Puram and the Yele Mallappa Shetty / Chetty Lake area, with low intensity residential use of the land, and sufficient spacing between homes, and decent road and lane planning. Closer to the highway and the city, there are warehouses, commercial developments and malls, with high rises in the distance, as well. Yele Mallappa Shetty Lake also called Yele Mallappa Chetty Lake, is one of the largest lakes in Bangalore, located on the eastern side of the city, outside of KR Puram. It is an artificial water reservoir constructed in early 1900's.
