Mahesh Bhatt: "There are many reasons why people go and shoot abroad. It is not more expensive, it is cheaper. There are more working hours in Switzerland, the unit strength is smaller, and there is a single minded involvement of everyone. Production values get enhanced, and distributors think the fool has spent a lot of money. Sometimes, the story needs it. But people find it weird that the film was shot in India. Suddenly, for the song, they have gone to Switzerland. The need to be entertained does not follow your logic and mine. Tourism ministry in India needs to understand how foreign countries send their representatives to India to sell their country's tourism offerings to us."
