Himalayan birds partake of the heady neurotoxin nectar of Rhododendron arboreum flowers at wildfilmsindia sanctuary. The birds incude a Rusty-cheeked Scimitar Babbler and a Grey-winged Blackbird. This Brilliantly stately - even gaudy - Rhododendron arboreum tree is blooming in a particularly showy fashion this year, at our wildfilmsindia Jabbarkhet in Spring 2024. Birds such as the Grey-winged Blackbird and the Rusty-cheeked Scimitar Babbler are regulars on the blooms, pollinating them in turn and getting puffs of white pollen onto their faces and around their beeks.
