Aerial view of Tehla Fort around Sariska National Park. Tehla is a small village near Alwar, Rajasthan. It is tucked between the foothills of the Aravalli mountain ranges. Tehla Fort is situated on top of the hill and looks like the crown of the village. It is a magnificent Fort of this area. Actually, Tehla was part of Alwar Principality (Riyasat). It was under control of the Maharaja of Alwar. However, it is not a massive construction but with all royal and defensive segments. There are high ramparts and a big entrance. The palatial building on the south corner of the fort is really a Rajasthani style. The magnificent plaster done in the corridor is good construction quality.
