Using a high-temperature torch, the craftsman carefully heats coloured glass rods and shapes the softened glass into a decorative penguin figurine. The artisan methodically forms the body, wings, tail, and other details while continuously rotating the molten glass to achieve the desired shape. Flameworking requires precise control of heat, steady hand movements, and years of experience to prevent the delicate glass from cracking. The demonstration showcases the craftsmanship and traditional glassworking skills practised by Indian artisans.
