Babu Market in Sarojini Nagar, New Delhi, is reopening after the COVID-19 lockdown. Clothing stalls line the paved lanes beneath blue tarpaulin canopies, displaying T-shirts, jeans, kurtas, dresses and children's clothing on rails. Sale signs, while shoppers and vendors wear face masks as they browse the stalls. A man pushes a loaded bicycle through the market, and bundles of unsold clothing remain wrapped in blue plastic sheets. The entrance carries a “Welcome to Babu Market” sign, while some stalls and sections remain relatively quiet as market activity resumes.
