Purkazi is a City in Purkaji Tehsil in the Muzaffarnagar District of Uttar Pradesh State, India. It belongs to Saharanpur Division . It is located 29 KM towards North from District head quarters Muzaffarnagar. Purkaji is surrounded by Narsan Tehsil towards North , Deoband Tehsil towards west , Laksar Tehsil towards East , Morna Tehsil towards South . Muzaffarnagar is a city and a municipal board in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. The city was established in Mughal period by a Sayyid Jagirdar, Munawar Lashkar Ali, and so named in honour of his father, Muzaffar Ali Khan. It is the capital of the Muzaffarnagar district. It is situated midway on Delhi and Dehradun National Highway (NH 58). Muzaffarnagar is located 125 kilometres NE of the national capital, Delhi, and roughly 200 kilometres
