Artists in Calcutta, West Bengal give final touches to the idols of Durga Maa and other characters before Durga Puja celebrations. The idols are made of clay and will be painted and adorned with accessories before the main festival. A group of craftsmen is also busy preparing the accessories for the idol of the goddess Durga. Careful painting and decorative work are put into the accessories. Owner of a factory making the idols speaks to the media person on how the election activities and division of workforce are slowing down the business as the elections happen in the same month as the Durga Puja.
