An artisan working on making the feet of an idol in Kumortuli in Kolkata. The artisan is making a Durga idol from clay ahead of Durga Puja. Kumortuli or Kumartuli is a settlement of potters located at the northern periphery of Kolkata. The best idols of goddess Durga are known to be made here. Hundreds of idols are made here especially prior to Durga Puja in West Bengal.
