There are six major tea districts in Nepal, primarily in the eastern regions of Nepal that are known for producing quality orthodox tea, which are Ilam, Panchthar, Dhankuta, Terhathum, Sindhulpalchok and Kaski. A local tea shop keeper shows a specialty tea from Nepal. The visitor seems quite interested in sipping a masala tea but the shopkeeper shows him how to pack it instead. "Some people drink first and later do the shopping," he said. Steel container with various kinds of tea names written on the orange sheet kept on the table. He says Elam tea is the best of all.
