In preparing the pond for the ducks and fish, the pond should ideally be emptied and then dried. After drying, the pond should be cleaned. Damages, if any, should be repaired and the coming and going of water should be supervised. For the water, there should be an inlet pipe and an outlet pipe. After that, lime and dung should be put in the pond and then water should be filled. We then use chemicals such as urea and superphosphate. Then we put the fingerlings into the pond, we give them food everyday, we check the quality of the water and with a net, we keep checking the fish. In the preparation of the pond, all these steps are crucial. To prevent the fish from contracting any diseases, we have to maintain the quality of the water. It is important to aerate the water and remove a bit of it
