Mukesh Tiwari on the film Kachchi Sadak (2006): "The music is definitely rooted in a traditional style. I have heard only one verse so far, and it is excellent. There is a sense of spirituality in it. It has the ability to touch and awaken the soul. That is one of its strongest qualities. Another positive aspect is that the song has been picturized on Mithun Da (Mithun Chakraborty). My first film with Amrish Puri was China Gate. Unfortunately, he is no longer with us. He could have spoken much better about this. As far as I know, this is his last film. I miss him."
