An exhibition of paintings and sculptures at All India Fine Arts and Crafts Society by Indian artist Manjeet Bawa. Art lovers see the paintings and sculptures by Manjeet Bawa. Manjit Bawa was a painter born in Dhuri, Punjab. Encouraged by his older brothers to pursue art, he attended the College of Art, New Delhi in 1958. He studied under Abani Sen, who was very influential on the artist’s distinct style and encouraged him to embrace figurative during a time when abstraction was dominant. Bawa moved to Britain in 1964, where he continued his artistic practices and worked as a silkscreen painter.
