Urmila Matondkar talks about her film Pinjar which is a period drama based on the partition of India and Pakistan. Urmila Matondkar: As much as possible we have tried to show and I feel it will be nearer to people's hearts and the incidents that happened at that time and I think we have been successful. I play a normal higher middle-class Punjabi girl from a very rich Punjabi family. I am the eldest daughter who gets married and what happened before her marriage and the things that happen to women during the partition is shown in the film. As I said the approach towards the movie is different. There is nothing good and nothing bad in the movie. We are not trying to show one side as good and one side as bad because it cannot be like that... This footage is part of the broadcast stock footag
