The 71st Republic Day Parade on January 26, 2020, at Rajpath in New Delhi featured colourful state tableaux showcasing India's diverse cultural heritage, traditions and architecture. The Odisha tableau highlighted the heritage of the Lingaraj Temple and the Rukuna Rath Yatra, accompanied by traditional Odia dancers in vibrant regional attire. The Meghalaya tableau showcased the state's famous Double-Decker Living Root Bridges, along with figures representing its indigenous culture and traditional way of life. The Gujarat tableau presented the architectural grandeur of Rani ki Vav, the historic stepwell in Patan, with a traditional Gujarati woman carrying a water pot and folk dancers accompanying the float.
