Surely one of India's most colourful, mysterious, shy and retiring birds, this Red-headed Trogon can be seen with a green grub in its beak, meant for its chicks, as seen at Latpanchar in the Dooars region of West Bengal. The Trogon has striking colours yet it is shy and retiring. The caterpillar grub in its beak almost looks fluorescent green in colour!
