On the way to Ziro from Guwahati via Nowgaon and Tezpur. The highway passes through the heart of Assam, crossing over the mighty Brahmaputra at Tezpur to the Northern banks. Passing by significant Assam towns of Lakhimpur, Gohpur and Banderduwa, it crosses into the Arunachal Pradesh border at Kimin. The journey promises to be a picturesque one, on both sides of the state. Ziro is situated in Lower Subansiri district of Arunachal Pradesh, 167 kms from the capital Itanagar. It can be reached via road from Guwahati or Dibrugarh towns in Assam.
